Respite Programs
- In-Home Respite Care Program provides temporary and short-term respite care and supervision to developmentally disabled children and adults in their homes.
- Residential Respite is a short-term residential service for children between the ages of 2 years and 18 years who have developmental disabilities.
- Children’s Group Home provides long-term care for children with special needs.
Services
- Temporary relief to families, parents and caretakers of individuals with developmental disabilities, who are overwhelmed with the continuous care of the disabled person.
- Children receive nurturing care and training in a home-like, state licensed, group home setting; and enjoy recreational and social activities.
- Maintain home placement.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals who have a diagnosis of mental retardation, autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other developmental disabilities.
- Referrals for Respite Programs can be made directly by families and/or providers.
