of life. At the Abraham Lincoln Centre, we believe that it is our
responsibility to help children receive the quality developmental and
educational services needed to be successful in school, at home and in

Centre’s Head Start programs are accredited by the National
Association for the Education of Young Children, a professional
organization dedicated to helping every child get the highest quality
of care and education available. This accreditation is of the
most reliable signs of quality care. The assessment tools and
strategies used at each site are Creative Curriculum and Leap Learning

programs operate Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. We serve hot breakfast,

Qualifications
Head
Start Program's parents are required to be enrolled in school or a
training program, or be employed in order for their children to secure
a slot in a Head Start/Pre-K center. Upon enrollment, parents
must verify their status by providing a payroll check stub or proof of
their educational enrollment.
Fees
and Payment
Families are assessed in accordance with the State of Illinois
Subsidized Child Care Guidelines. Each family pays based upon
household income on a sliding scale. Some families will qualify
for free services and others for discounted services. Parents
whose income does not meet the State of Illinois Subsidized Child Care
Guidelines will qualify for Private Pay.
