Our child and teen development programs are designed to reinforce these core values and provide our youth with quality personal growth workshops and activities.

 

After School, during school year (M-F, 2:00pm – 6:00pm):

Ø  Tutoring, Mentoring, SAT Preparation

Ø  Homework Assistance, Writing & Pre-Algebra

Ø  Chess & Board Games, Billiards, Air Hockey

Ø  Basketball

Ø  Wii, Ping Pong, Foosball

Ø  Arts & Crafts, Cooking Classes

Ø  Computer Classes

Ø  Snacks

Ø  Transportation from school during school year.

 

Summer Programs (M-F, 8:00am – 6:00pm)

Ø  Everything offered in the regular school year plus

Ø  Dance, Music Appreciation

Ø  Field Trips

Ø  College Tours

Ø  Poetry, Theater

Ø  Tennis, Swimming

Ø  Martial Arts

Ø  Photography

Ø  Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks

 

Location

Child and teen programs are held at our Bronzeville facility – 3858 S. Cottage Grove Ave., Chicago, IL 60653.

 

Our Staff

All staff members have been selected for their caring dedication and desire to work with children. Our staff members have cleared background checks and are certified in First Aid and CPR.

 

Eligibility Requirements

Ages 6–11 years old, for school year & summer participation:

  1. Child & Parent Social Security Cards.
  2. Child’s Dental & Immunization Records.
  3. Child’s Birth Certificate.
  4. Parent must be working or in school (if working, check stub is required).
    A small fee will be assessed based upon your income, to be paid monthly.
  5. Please ask about Private Pay.

 

Ages 12–17 years old:

  1. Parent completes Enrollment Application.
  2. Copy of Report Cards when available.
  3. Acknowledgement of Centre’s policies.
